Calmer Parents. Connected Families.

Support for parents navigating postpartum recovery, big behaviors, ADHD, ODD, and emotional overwhelm.

Parenting can feel heavy when support is small.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Parenting Can Feel Overwhelming

The early days with a newborn can bring joy, exhaustion, uncertainty, and emotional change all at once.

As children grow, new challenges sometimes appear, struggles with attention, regulation, behavior, or connection that can leave parents feeling confused and alone.

Many parents find themselves wondering:

  • Why does my child react so strongly?

  •  Why do small moments turn into big conflicts?

  • Why do I feel overwhelmed or unsure as a parent?

  • Am I doing something wrong?

The truth is this:

Parents are doing the best they can with the support and tools they currently have.

Challenging behaviors are often signals of something deeper, an emotional need, a skill that is still developing, or a nervous system that is overwhelmed.

When parents receive the right support, everything can begin to shift.

Hi, I'm Stacey

I’ve spent 25+ years supporting infants, children, and families and I’m also a mom through foster care adoption. That journey reshaped everything I thought I knew about parenting and trauma.

I understand the emotional weight that can come with raising a child with complex needs, because I’ve lived it.

Today, I support families as a Postpartum Doula and Parent Support Coach, helping during life’s most vulnerable seasons:

Early postpartum transition

Parenting through behavioral challenges

Navigating stress, guilt, and overwhelm

Building practical tools that actually work

My goal is simple:

To offer a calm, steady space where you can better understand your child and feel confident leading your family.

Because when parents feel supported, families change.

You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a parent support coach do?

A parent support coach helps parents better understand their child’s behavior, reduce conflict, and build practical parenting strategies that strengthen connection and confidence.

How is parent coaching different from therapy?

Parent coaching focuses on practical strategies, emotional regulation, and understanding behavior. It is not therapy but provides guidance, tools, and support for everyday parenting challenges.

What kinds of challenges can you help with?

I support parents dealing with things like:

Big emotions and frequent meltdowns

Defiance, control, or shutdown behaviors

Lying, stealing, or unsafe choices

Difficulty with attachment and connection

Parenting a child with a trauma history

Many of the families I work with feel exhausted and unsure what to try next.

Do you have experience with adoption and trauma?

Yes. This is a core part of my work. I support parents who are navigating the realities of adoption, including behaviors and patterns often connected to early trauma or diagnoses like Reactive Attachment Disorder.

I understand that what you’re seeing on the surface is often not the full story and we approach your child with that deeper understanding.

Who benefits from parent coaching?

Parents who feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure how to respond to challenging behaviors often benefit from coaching. Many families seek support for ADHD, ODD, emotional regulation struggles, or frequent parent-child conflict.

What is postpartum doula support?

A postpartum doula provides support during the weeks and months after a baby is born. This support can include newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional support for parents, and help adjusting to life with a new baby.

When should I hire a postpartum doula?

Many families arrange postpartum support before their baby arrives. However, support can also begin anytime during the early months after birth.

How do I know if coaching or postpartum support is right for me?

The best way to find out is through a Parent Support Conversation. During this call we talk about what is happening in your family and what type of support may feel most helpful.
